I decided to discuss about Sally Field's performance in Lincoln, this film is based on a biography of Lincoln's final four months of Lincoln's life and focusing on the president's efforts to have the Thirteenth Amendment to the united states.
Sally Field plays as Mary Todd Lincoln, the wife of the sixteenth president and a grieving mother who cared about her family's safety. Field being one of the nominees for best supporting actress, it was a little bit surprising but i was glad. Her character was really supportive to her husband about the Thirteenth Amendment , she never wanted to be invisible like other womens and she would talk to the congressmen to discuss about making the right choice for voting . I think Sally Field might win for Best Supporting Actress because the role that she played and how she brought out her character to life........
